Rosemary Colen

Rosemary Colen is a Student Advisor at MedPath and a third-year medical student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she is pursuing a career in surgery. Before medical school, she earned bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Political Science from UNC Wilmington. She also gained substantial clinical exposure as a medical scribe at Novant Health and ProScribe, working alongside healthcare professionals and developing firsthand insight into patient care and clinical practice.

Rosemary’s path to medicine also includes years of experience in hospitality and customer service, strengthening her ability to communicate and work with people from diverse backgrounds. At MedPath, she draws on her experiences as a pre-medical student, clinical scribe, and current medical student to mentor aspiring physicians. She provides students with practical guidance on preparing for medical school, navigating medical training, and exploring careers in medicine and surgery.
