Jiayun (Ivy) Wang

Jiayun (Ivy) Wang is a General Volunteer at MedPath with a background spanning biology, patient care, and healthcare technology. She earned her B.S. in Biology with Distinction from UNC–Chapel Hill and has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in UNC Medical Center’s Transplant Unit. She also served as an Oncology Patient Navigator Volunteer at UNC Cancer Hospital, where she worked directly with cancer patients to identify barriers to care and connect them with medical, financial, legal, and psychosocial resources.

Ivy also brings experience in healthcare data and technology through her work at Epic Systems, where she worked with large-scale healthcare and insurance-claims data supporting value-based care. At MedPath, she brings these perspectives together to support students exploring diverse pathways in medicine and healthcare.
