Jiangxue (Shirly) Wu

Jiangxue (Shirly) Wu is the Mentor Coordinator of MedPath with a background in biomedical research and biotechnology. She earned her B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University and an M.S. in Biotechnology from Northeastern University. As Vice President of the ISPE Northeastern Student Chapter, Shirly has built a strong professional network across the pharmaceutical and healthcare communities, including connections with physicians, pharmacists, scientists, and industry professionals.

Her experience also includes research on cognitive disorders and an R&D co-op at Ultragenyx, where she conducted Alzheimer’s disease research using patient-derived neuronal models. At MedPath, Shirly draws on her scientific background and professional network to connect students with mentors across medicine, pharmacy, research, and healthcare.
