Science Tutoring for Resilience, Impact,
Vision, and Excellence

Avishye Moskowitz
The STRIVE program, under the Directorship of Avishye Moskowitz, is built to address the needs of high school students who are passionate about future careers in science, who, for one reason or another, end up falling through educational cracks, fail, drop out, and sadly begin to tell themselves a science career is unattainable. This program collaborates with teachers and social workers within the school to offer free auxiliary educational support and career mentorship, inspiring and motivating students to take an active role in their educational journeys. We pride ourselves on meeting the students where they are and helping them to see how smart they are, if only they apply themselves. Our work will equip these students with an educational toolbox that will help them gain valuable life and learning skills for the future.
STRIVE is a science tutoring and mentorship program dedicated to helping students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and discover new possibilities within the world of science. Created to support learners who may be struggling or seeking to improve, STRIVE provides personalized guidance in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
We believe every student has the ability to grow — and our mission is to make that growth possible. Through one-on-one tutoring, clear explanations, and supportive relationships, STRIVE helps students develop the resilience and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in challenging coursework.
Our tutors are high-achieving college students and aspiring healthcare and STEM professionals who are carefully selected for their academic excellence, reliability, and commitment to service. They bring not only strong scientific knowledge, but also a genuine passion for helping younger students reach their full potential.
In STRIVE, students receive more than academic support — they gain encouragement, mentorship, and a pathway to envision themselves in future scientific and medical careers. We work to ensure that science is not something to fear, but something to explore, understand, and excel in.
At STRIVE, we don’t just tutor for today’s assignments — we build tomorrow’s scientists, problem-solvers, and leaders.
