Commitment Agreement for Tutors/Mentors

1. Commitment Statement:

I, hereby commit to actively participate as a Tutor/Mentor in the National Pre-Medical Association (NPreMA) program. I understand the importance of my role in providing guidance and support to students, and I am committed to contributing my time and expertise to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

2. Areas of Contribution:

I commit to providing assistance and support in the following areas: [subjects specified above]. I understand that my role is crucial in the development and success of the students, and I will make efforts to create a positive and conducive learning/mentoring environment.

3. Time Commitment:

I commit to dedicating a reasonable amount of time to fulfill my responsibilities as a Tutor/Mentor. This includes scheduled sessions, preparation time, and any additional support that may be required. I understand that consistency and regular engagement are essential for the success of the tutoring/mentoring relationship.

4. Communication:

I commit to maintaining open and effective communication with the students/mentees. I will promptly respond to messages, emails, or any communication related to the tutoring/mentoring relationship. I understand that clear communication is key to building trust and fostering a positive learning environment.

5. Confidentiality:

I commit to maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared during tutoring/mentoring sessions. This includes but is not limited to personal information, academic performance, and any sensitive discussions. I understand the importance of creating a safe and confidential space for the students/mentees.

6. Professionalism:

I commit to conducting myself in a professional manner at all times. I understand that my role as a Tutor/Mentor reflects on the National Pre-Medical Association (NPreMA), and I will uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.

7. Continuous Improvement:

I commit to continuously improving my tutoring/mentoring skills and staying updated on relevant knowledge and best practices. I understand that ongoing learning is essential for providing effective support to the students/mentees.

8. Termination:

I understand that this commitment is voluntary and may be terminated by either party with written notice. Termination does not relieve me of any obligations accrued prior to termination.
