Biography:
My name is Paula Sominsky. I went to the University of Connecticut, where I earned a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences. I am the head dental assistant at my dental office. While I was in college, I was the president/captain of my club volleyball team. I did volunteer research on technology illiteracy in food deserts. I volunteered with 4-H Vernon, where we taught STEM-based arts and crafts to elementary students. In addition, I was a mentor for the pre-dental society at my college during my Junior and senior years. I can help with tutoring in all science classes as needed, or in other classes, provide extra guidance on which classes to take for college/medical and dental school, and assist with research projects. My personal interests are volleyball, listening to music, and cooking. I am fluent in Russian and English.
