My name is Avishye Moskowitz, I am a recent pre-med graduate from Yeshiva University. My dream is to pursue a career as an MD physician. As a long-term student, I am grateful to those who took the time to guide and teach me not only STEM topics but also the skills to perform my best as a student. The skills I learned have allowed me to succeed in some of the hardest topics in the sciences, making me feel empowered, successful, and capable. I am passionate about helping others feel the same way. Not only teaching them the wonders and intricacies of the STEM world, but also giving them lifelong study habits, feelings of self-efficacy, and confidence in their abilities to succeed in education. I am honored to have the opportunity to head the STRIVE Program and work for NPREMA as their Director of the Mentorship Program


The STRIVE program is built to address the needs of high school students who are passionate about future careers in science, who, for one reason or another, end up falling through educational cracks, fail, drop out, and sadly begin to tell themselves a science career is unattainable. This program collaborates with teachers and social workers within the school to offer free auxiliary educational support and career mentorship, inspiring and motivating students to take an active role in their educational journeys. We pride ourselves on meeting the students where they are and helping them to see how smart they are, if only they apply themselves. Our work will equip these students with an educational toolbox that will help them gain valuable life and learning skills for the future.

Created to support learners who may be struggling or seeking to improve, STRIVE provides personalized guidance in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
